Career and Net Worth

Marshmello's career started in 2015 when he posted his melodies on SoundCloud, including remixes of Zedd's "Beautiful Now" and Jack Ü's "Where Are U Now". Before long, he was drawing fans and increasing vocal support from peers like Skrillex, who reposted Marshmello's track "Find Me." High-profile live DJ appearances pursued, with shows at Ultra Music Festival and California's HARD Day of the Dead celebration, among others. In 2016, Marshmello released an accumulation of his recently released tracks, Joytime, which arrived at number five on the Billboard electronic/dance collections chart and number one on a digital top electronic collections chart. Included on the collection was the single "Keep It Mello" highlighting rapper Omar LinX.

In 2016, after a set at Electric Daisy Carnival, Dutch DJ Tiësto rose up out of under Marshmello's cover, deceptively proclaiming he was the secretive DJ. The genuine Marshmello kept on performing and released singles consistently, later starting his very own Joytime Collective record label. More joint efforts followed in 2017, including "Silence" with Khalid and "Wolves" highlighting famous pop singer, Selena Gomez. The two tracks became Top 30 hits and were confirmed platinum around the globe.

In 2018, Marshmello added another hit joint effort to his list, matching with British vocalist Anne-Marie for their multi-platinum hit single "Friends." After releasing his second full-length collection, Joytime II, he dropped the non-collection single "Happier," which featured Bastille's Dan Smith on vocals. The melody immediately turned into his highest-charting track to date, ascending into the Top Three in the U.S., U.K., and Australasia. As the notoriety of "Happier" kept on rising, Marshmello scored his highest-charting exertion to date with the progressive Fortnite Extended Set, a 30-minute blend taken from his 2019 in-game show that pulled in a large number of video gamers. When summer came around, "Happier" had topped the Billboard electronic chart and crested at number two on the Hot 100.

In November 2019, at the 2019 American Music Awards, Marshmello and Bastille were nominated for the Collaboration of The Year Award but lost to Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello.
